brarchive bug ... ????

Hi all,

I am not sure if I am hitting some kind of brarchive bug here, but it seems like if I have more than 300 archivelog to process, brarchive just hangs or stalls.

After I move the archivelogs so that I have 200 or less and then run brarchive, it runs successful and I have to move back the archivelogs that I moved.

The brarchive version and release, I guess is as below:

BR0002I BRARCHIVE 7.00 (46)

BR0006I Start of offline redo log processing: aedrblxc.sve 2010-07-14 19.57.16

BR0484I BRARCHIVE log file: /oracle/SP1/saparch/aedrblxc.sve

BR0280I BRARCHIVE time stamp: 2010-07-14 19.57.16

Is there another way to check what is the version and release of brarchive besides the arch<SID>log file?

Thanks in advance.

Just use brarchive -V and you get all the version info.
