Dear all,

AIX , Oracle .

SAP CI server is not started after power failure . pls check the log .

Trace of system startup/check of SAP System IRP on Wed Jul 14 14:17:45 IST 2010

Called command: /sapmnt/IRP/exe/startsap ASCS00

exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program /usr/sap/IRP/ASCS00/exe/sapstartsrv because of the following errors:

0509-111 The s_scnptr or s_size field of the

.text section header is invalid.

0509-194 Examine file headers with the 'dump -ohv' command.

Startup of Instance Service failed

due to power failure all the SAP servers are down

It seems the binary is corrupt. I'd download a new kernel, unpack and put it pack in place.

I'd also run a filesystem check on the filesystem where the binaries reside.

you mean i have to Upgrade SAP Kernal ....

is it correct ..

Let me know where to get binary (path) .. let give any path ....

we are using AIX , ECC6.0 , Oracle

As Markus said:

Check the file system.

You can download the same version of the kernel as you have today.

The goal is to restore the binaries, nothing more nothing less.

Hi ,

We have AIX team .so that i can inform to OS team , let know me know binary is related to OS (AIX) kernal or SAP Kernal ....

The failing binary is related to SAP so if the team can restore them that is ok too.

You should still check the file system.

As I said before, redownload (or restore) the SAP kernel.

/usr/sap/IRP/ASCS00/exe/sapstartsrv
