Can not change WBS basic date(CJ20N)

Dear, expert

We have a second or third level WBS which contains several activities under it

and these activities from different WBS are linked together(FS/SS)

When we do a strick bottom up scheduling, or top-down scheduling,

WBS basic dates sometimes are not changed according to the scheduling

(The WBS basic dates are not rolled up to the higher level. / "Adjust BSC date" option doesn't work, either)

But if we change WBS duration to zero by dragging(shortening) WBS bar on the planning board,

and reschedule agian then, it works

We've already applied several notes

- 1137642 : Basic start date of higher level WBS not set correctly)

- 1045363 : WBS Bottom Up Scheduling : Dates not Rolled up correctly

Best wishes, Min

Thank you for your answer.

but it seemed that it has nothing to do with network status

I released whole project and didn't add up any network or activities

but still WBS basic date is not changed when i do strick bottom up scheduling.

Basic Date of WBSE will not change everytime when you do scheduling...it changes on certain conditions like whenever there is a change in duration / date of acitivity assigned to the WBSE. If there is no change in date/duration of activity since previous scheduling then it wont change the basic data in next scheduling run.

Dear friend,

check the releasing of your networks, i mean to say is once you released your project including all networks , after you added two or three networks and you made relationship between these two networks with other networks, and assigned bottom up scenario inthat case kindly do ccheck the material or services delivery dates against each network.

check planned delivery time of material or services against each network , if you are using bottom upscenario.
