SAP IDoc to PI to Vendor SAP system

Hello Everyone,

I am working on a scenario where my company has to send the POs to the vendor through SAP PI 7.1 EHP1.

My Vendor is also using SAP system but outside my corporate boundary(firewall).

Please suggest me the best ways to transfer POs and let me know if you need more informations.

Hi Henery,

You can go for IDoc to IDoc scenario using B2B.

(so create a normal business system and technical system for your partner)

you could also use a party objects and attach your BS under it ..

If you cannot connect directlly to customer, perhaps use some FTP server available for both side.

If the system is not in the same landscape as your XI/ PI server then you make use of the Party (B2B scenario)....some more information about party communication can be found on SDN.
