Transporting Classes and Characterisitics from Development to Quality

Greetings,

I am creating a new document type and transporting the configuration from the Development system to the Quality system. Configuration such as Object links and Status Dependent Required Characteristics have been transported from the Development system to the Quality system.

I have created a Class and saved it but I was not prompted to create a transport request. I have also created a Characteristic and saved it but was also not prompted for a transport request. Can you please advise why I am not prompted for a transport request and then how possibly I am supposed to move Classes and Characterisitics from Development to Quality?

Hi Keith,

If you'd like to know the procedures of copying classification data please read carefully the SAP notes 45951 and 10745.
