Dear All,
When loading a view I am not getting any elements displayed in the preview area. It simply stays white, no error message comes.
I already have investigated following notes:
[Note 1009930 - (Display) problems in View Designer when you load a view|https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1wbCZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=1009930] -> issue no 4 is what I am getting
[Note 1008689 - No layout preview due to inactive ICF nodes|https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1wbCZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=1008689]
...and couple others which don't seem to fit my requirement.
I also followed the configuration document ensuring all services are active [Web Dynpro for ABAP Configuration|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/43/e86de5008b4d9ae10000000a155369/frameset.htm]
What I also did is trying to create new entry in HTTPURLLOC table as suggested [here|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/42/d547ab30b6473ce10000000a114e5d/frameset.htm]. The entry looks like
9999 | HTTP | /* | * | <server_name> | 8000
"or
9999 | HTTP | | | <server_name> | 8000
"or
empty
What is more I have a NSP installation on my virtual machine where this works fine even without the above entry. I also compared all required services from NSP and my customer's system and see not significant difference there.
Did anyone face similar problem? Maybe I am missing some obvious thing which I might have accidentally omitted.
Thanks
Marcin
Any ideas? Thanks.
Hi,
Sometimes even i face this issue in our system. generally whenever i click on "SHOW/HIDE Layout Preview" Button which is available on the toolbar when we open webdynpro view, it starts working.
As you have already followed the SAP notes mentioned, try this out. It might work!
Hope this helps!
Regards,
Srilatha

Hi Marcin,
Did you find a solution to the above problem?
Even I am facing the same problem and not able to find a solution.
I tried activating all the services in SICF.

I could not find appropriate solution, therefore I am closing the thread hoping that someone in the future will drop the idea how to overcome this;)
Cheers to everyone
