SRM 7.0 and IE 8 issues

Dear All,

we have a application that sells products. one of our customer access our application through sap OCI.

ealier he uses SRM 5.0 and IE8 , that works fine.

now he upgrade his SRM 5.0 to SRM 7.0 and use IE8.

he can access our application, after adding product in cart and submitting form. he don't get submitted form

data back to SRM 7.0.

when he use SRM 7.0 and IE 6 everything is working fine. but abow problem comes with SRM 7.0 and IE8.

please reply me asap that what are the issues SRM 7.0 with IE 8.

Dear All,

my customer has checked his setting at SRM level, that he has done these setting already.

my application running on HTTP protocol and we have to send response to SRM system(HOOK_URL) HTTPS protocol.

but he told that he has done setting regarding to this issue(opt display mixed content enabled in IE8).

so can you tell me other possible issue regarding this problem.

The note I suggesed (Note 1456162- navigation to catalog is cancelled in IE8) is only included in SRM 7 SP 8 which is not released yet. Your customer could not have had it if not applied explicitly. Try the note and see if the problem persists.

There is also note 1427561, which suggests some settings to be done in IE8 side.

Ask your customer to check and apply the following note:

Note 1456162 - Navigation to catalog is cancelled in IE8

It might help.

i want to know that this note is SAP SRM 7.0 related or IE8.

if its SAP SRM 7.0 related then please tell me the steps to apply this Note 1456162.

because our customer is not technical person.

It is SRM 7.0 related. Try to use transaction SNOTE in your SRM system to apply the note.
