Printing a _________ line in smartforms

Hi Gurus,

I have a small problem that I cannot think of a solution right away.

I have to develop some forms in smartforms, very simple, but require some blank lines. It's a free text document, as we did in sapscript, but the problem here is that some fields are not to be populated, but I have to keep the space for it with an "underline" _____________________________

The problem is this - since some fields can take more or less space depending of its content, the positioning of the line moves and it doesnt look good.

Any suggestions?

Create a Paragraph format say AU with Underline option checked. Asssign AU to the text to be printed. If text is not present assign that to SPACE with that many characters of text.

Hi ,

In the script at the time of printing check the that field is having value .

If NOT &fld1& IS INITIAL .

print &fld1&

ELSE.

uline(what ever the field size)
