How to map supplier UNSPSC codes with internal SRM Product categories

Hi There,

We are in the process on enabling "punchout" to a supplier catalog. When our requisitioners adds an item from a "punchout" catalogue to a shopping cart, we want to automatically map the item's UNSPSC code with our own defined product category.

We replicate product categories from R3 (Material Groups)

How can we achieve this?

Hello Grace,

There is the BADI BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER. How about map the UNSPSC to buyer side Material Group with custom mapping table?

NEW_ITEM-EXT_SCHEMA_TYPE[n] = UNSPSC

NEW_ITEM-EXT_CATEGORY_ID[n] = "UNSPSC code"

Search the mapping table in BADI.

ET_SC_ITEM_DATA-CATEGORY_ID = "Material Group"
