Dear Gurus,

I have an MIC that take different ranges in the same inspection plan.

For example, @ operation 0010, its limit is 10:20

@ operation 0020, its limit is 30:40

How can I handle this issue?

Regards,

MaX

Hi Max ,

Put same MIC in different line item.

Select each line item click on Quan data give their range 10 to 30

Select line item of same NIC give range 30 To 50

Select 3rd line item of Same MIC give range 50 To 60.

Likewise you can do it.

By the time of system willgive you warning message but ignore it & save ,because that will not effect any your process,

Try & revert me back./

Hey Sanil,

I tried this solution earlier, actually the problem will be with printing the quality certificate.

The system will give an error due to this action.

Any other ideas?

I can't remember, are you batch managed? If so, take the value and range from the batch record. I always try to avoid using inspection lots to create certs. It introduces a whole other level of difficulty usually.

In the certificate profile you can specify the origin of your resutls to be printed on the COA. Instead of specifying a mic, specify the general characteristic of the batch record instead. In the results origin field, select Batch record. You can also specify that the specs come from the batch record as well.

The last result of a test in the inspection lot is what should be on the batch record. So if test A is in operation 10, 30 and 60, then the batch result should be the value from operation 60.
