PDF printing on Tally printer

Hi guys,

We have a Tally 6050 printer assigned for mass printing of cheques; the cheques are in PDF format. We have tried many output device types in SPAD; either the cheques are not getting printed at all or the output printed is garbage. We did raise a message to SAP but no valid workaround was proposed.

What we are asking is if someone has the driver (output device type) file for the Tally 6050 printer (or near model), can you please let us where to find it.

thanks for your reply

But front end printing did not work; normally for PDF printing the output device type PDF1 is suggested with access method G. But it is printing garbage in our case..

Any other suggestion....

hi all,

We were able to resolve the issue; in fact we had to install latest SAP GUI 7.20 and install 2 additional software called sappdfprint and sapsprint.

On the server side, we need to configure in SPAD, PDF1 with access type G.

This has worked for us.
