New application configuration is not being reflected

Hi,

My requirement is to hide some buttons, change button texts & hide some columns in standard wd component delivered by SAP. So I created an application configuration and component configuration and did the layout customization. Now in the application I am passing this new configuration name (Z*config) to parameter WDCONFIGURATIONID in the standard application.

But my changes are not being reflected. Basically new configuration itself is not called.

Note : Application parameters I have added in development client and testing the same in unit testing client.

Do I need to pass some more extra parameters ? Any idea why this new configuration is not being called ?

Have you tried using URL parameter

>sap-wd-configId=Z_whatever_config

Hi All,

The above scenario worked by setting the new configuration in SPRO. Hence the issue is solved.
