Hi Guru's

I am trying to explore the new concept WBS & Network Progress tracking.

WBSXPD

NTWXPD

I have checked in SAP Help also there is nothing for the same.

Please explain me how i can use this feature.

I guess with the help of this i can have deadline monitoring at activity level.

Hi PSUSER ,

The both transactions are similar as EXPD & COMPXPD, in deed they uses the same generic progress tracking codes. For the usage of the transaction is a question of the business requirement, if you need a event-based monitoring of the WBS or network activities.

Kind regards,

Hi,

Progress tracking is explained clearly in SAP Help. I would still recommend you to go through SAP Help patiently and check. Else you can search the forum for Progress Tracking. There are a lot of threads explaining the concept of Progress Analysis.

You can also check the note 516476 - Consulting note Progress analysis. Hope this helps.

Regards,

Gokul

Please note - Progress Analysis and Progress Tracking are two different things.

Hi,

I just misread that. Still, thanks to Virendra for clearing the confusion.

you are right - in EHP4 this functionality has been extended to PS objectds

The only comment I have is that deadline monitoring is an SAP term used in preventive maintenance and should not be confused with deadline of completing the respective WBS or activity based on progress tracking.

Progress tracking for PS objects like WBS and Networks are introduced in EHP3 package. I think the same concept of Progress tracking for material component is applied to this also, like maintaining events and monitoring the progress using status of the events.
