Error with RFC connection

Hi Gurus,

I just added our new trusted/trusting systems, and when i try to jump from the solution manager into the satelite system it says, transaction opened in new window, but it never actually opens up...

Does anyone know what the problem is here? Since I am not getting an error message...

Thanks for your help

Hello Miriam,

How are you attempting to connect to your system using this RFC? Are you trying this through transaction SM59 or SMSY? Have you conducted a Connection Test? And also as described above a REMOTE LOGON? Please provide more information based on this.

THanks,

Mark

Please try to open connection by selecting the connection directly in SM59.

Choose the appropriate connection and then click "Remote Logon".

You can also precheck the 'connection test' and 'authorization test' in SM59.

If it doesn't show up after several seconds, you can retry and retry again.

We have similiar issue in one of our customer system.

Thanks for the replies,

there was a wrong password in one of the RFC connections.

But now when I want to test it always opens the logon pad, how do I configure the connection, so that I don't have to type the pw?

Hi ,

logon pad showing due to RFC is created by some other people.

Delete the existing RFC in SMSYand generate the RFC with assistance in your user id.

User id must have S_RFC & S_RFCACL trusted role.

Thanks for the reply,

the authorisation objects were fine. I just had to change the setting in the _Trusted connection to trusted system.

Works fine now.

Problems solved.

Hi Miriam,

what happens when you check the new RFC via SM59? Try Button "Remote Login".
