Hi,

IDOC(4.6C) - IDOC(ERP)

I have imported the IDOC into PI system, but in my target system(ECC6) i need to update some custom fields which are not available in standard IDOC (matmas04). is it possible to do this scenario with out creating a custom idoc.

So do you mean that these custom fields are of Idoc in ECC6? If yes, then you must import this Idoc in PI and perform the mapping.

Hi Palla,

You reimport the target idoc and let the mapping be as it is (until unless you want to change). Then once when you send the target idoc with the new custom fields and once your receiver receives the idoc you can write the logic for custom fields before posting the idoc.
