PI 7.0 Queue Stuck smq2 because of message lock

Hi All,

I am facing one problem in production.

my scenario is HTTP to IDOC. Its B2B scenario.

some times the message that is coming in from sender party A gets stuck in a PI queue , thus following all other messages are stuck.

This message is always stuck in message branch step. when i tried to find the cause , this message gets locked by the service user that is created in PI server for accepting HTTP messages from this sender party A.

The table thats is shown in lock entry is SXMSPMAST.

can any one give me some hint on what might be reason behind this locking?

Please check if the password mentioned for the service user is correct?

Hi,

First of all, please check type of QOS, whether its exactly once or exactly once in order. Because if it is EOIO, then when one message gets fail then all other following messages stuck in queue. You can see the status in RWB where all messages are in holding status. So please ensure its QOS or change it to exactly once n check if it works.......
