How to print output of SE11 to a file

I want to print information about various data fields in a table to a file. When I went to system->List-.Save; I find all save options have been greyed. Looking for anyway to save information to a file. I want to write a program outside SAP using data filed definitions.

Hi,

I dont think you can download the output of SE11 in to a file as the save option is disabled in initial screen. But what I can suggest is since you require fields only of the table...after clicking on Display in SE11 tcode, choose the contents tab in between of graphic and Technical Settings or use the TCode SE16. Execute the same and then it will display the rows and columns of the table with field names which you can export to a file and after that remove the data and just have the filed values.
