Chinese Characters as garbage value only in PDF

Hi Experts,

I have scenario where vendor address needs to printed in Chinese using SAP Script.

It display correctly through print preview but when i convert to PDF from spool and send it through mail using

FM "SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1". vendor address doesn't display in Chinese character.

Chinese address is maintained in ADRC table and Program is picking that using subroutine pool and prints.

Restriction: vendor can not be maintained in Chinese.

I tried so for:

1. Change language key in OPEN_FORM, START_FORM , SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1.

2. Try to generate PDF file even logging in SAP in Chinese (ZH) language.

But no hope yet.

Any Idea..!!

Hi Sunil,

Please check with your basis team to get install OSS note to convert chinese characters in PDF. also search for OSS note in sap market place. You will get the solution in Market Place.

I am not sure if this helps you : -

It display correctly through print preview b

Check if your system have Asian language pack installed.

You can contact your system Admin or a basis person.

In my case, while developing it in japneese language i had the same issue.

After installing it worked good.

You can give it a try..
