Dear SAP,
I have just implemented the service desk in our SOLMAN system.
From D03 system for example, I want to create a message :
1. Help
2. Create Support Mesages.
I get this error :
"because of error 513, no message was created in support desk system"
Message no. BCOS005
I have read OSS and apply recommandations from OSS Note 498984 and 1261046.
I still have this issue.
Thanks in advance for your input.
Best regards
P. Cuennet

Dear all,
thanks for your input.
1. I am not using SLFN.
2. Table BCOS_CUST is correctly set in my managed (satellite) systems.
3. DNO_CUST01 in SOLMAN : SLFN0001_STANDARD_DNO
4. DNO_CUST04 = Process Type = SLFN
5. I can create a message when I am connected in P04 (solman, where the service desk is installed).
I get this error from all managed (satellite) systems.
Regarding roles :
1. in SOLMAN - P04, SAP_SUPPDES_CREATE is assigned to my user.
2. In managed system, role SAP_SV_FDB_NOTIF_BC_CREATE is assigned to my user.
But as I have SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW, this should not be the reason of the error.
Best regards
P. Cuennet
Dear Pascal,
This is more than likely an authorization issue.
To resolve the error 513, would you please assign the role
SAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE to the key user and check whether the issue is
resolved or not?
Hope this resolves.
Regards,
Paul

Dear Paul,
Thanks for your input.
That was the problem.
I thought I have to add SAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE to any users who wanted to create a message in the service desk.
I initially added this role to my user to test it.
I now know that I only have to add it to user referenced in the RFC SM_P04CLNT100_BACK.

First of all, ur service desk is ZLFN or SLFN ?
1) plz make sure that u have maintained the table BCOS_CUST in ur satellite system :
Add OSS_MSG W RFC to solman CUST620 1
2) In solman, check ur action profile in DNO_CUST01of SLF1
3) Check ur DNO_CUST04 if the process type is SLFN or ZLFN (in case u have ur customized SD)
By the way, this is quite a periodic question in this solman forum, plz do some research before post the question
