Hi ,

Kindly check http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/operations?rid=/webcontent/uuid/605a899b-4038-2a10-d491-af6ba6c2506a. [original link is broken]

I have some doubt if you using any Agent for System monitoring like sapccm4x, sapccmsr and ccmsping.

Hi,

you can do like this:

RZ21 -> Method definitions

Change CCMS_RFCDest_Availability_Col

Set RFC Destination to Parameter RFC_DEST and save (new colum when using more RFC connections)

Reset the segment in WARMUP status

After some minutes, it appears in RZ20 under SAP CCMS Monitor Templates -> Availability and Performance Overview

Hi

I have done

1. RFC connection from x to y and y to x

In X system:

1. In transaction RZ21, mark Method definitions, and choose Display overview

Copyed standard CCMS_RFCDest_Availability_Col method definition to ZCCMS_RFCDest_Availability_Col

Parameters tab

For x

Parameter name = RFC_DEST

value = SM_XCLNT510_TRUSTED

Parameter name1 = COLL_METHOD

value = ZCCMS_RFCDest_Availability_Col

Same in Y but for RFC_DEST give

Parameter name = RFC_DEST

value = SM_YCLNT100_TRUSTED

Execution Tab

Type of call = Function module

Call SALK = SALK_RFCDEST_AVAILABILITY

Execute method on = The local server of the MTE to be processed

Execute method for = Individual MTE

Control tab :

Execute method for = Individual MTE

Execute method = periodically in dialog process (short-running program)

Startup method = Execute method immediately after monitoring segment start

Execution location

of startup method = Only on the central instance

Start Tab:

Execute method = Data Collection Method

also try in so many way as in :Parameter Tab:

RFC_DEST SM_XCLNT510_TRUSTED

COLL_METHOD ZCCMS_RFCDest_Availability_Col

MTE_CLASS Availability_RFC_Destinations

MTE_CLASS CCMS_RFCDest_Availability_MO_Class

MTE_CLASS CCMS_RFCDest_Availability_Col

COLL_METHOD CCMS_RFCDest_Availability_Col

RFC_DEST CCMS_RFCDest_Availability_Col

Problem:

I am not able to Reset the segment in WARMUP status

not able to find the node in RZ20

Neni

RZ21 -> Topology, System overview -> tab local segments -> edit -> mark segment name -> press button "reset segment in warmup status" -> SAve

Is the segment name will be like SAP_CCMS_sapxsd_SID_00? or ZCCMS_RFCDest_Availability_Col

if this is correct segment name i have done ->reset segment in warmup status

but not able to find the node in RZ20

please help me to solve this problem.

I found that I had to restart the ABAP stack to get the monitor to appear. I'm sure there must be a better way, but I have no idea what it is!
