ClickOnce-Download of CrystalReports 12.3 Runtime fails

I have a ClickOnce application, which tries to automatically download the CrystalReports-Runtime from this URL:

http://resources.businessobjects.com/support/downloads/redistributables/cr_120/redist/x86/CRRuntime_...

This URL is configured in product.xml in the clickonce deployment package which I downloaded and installed.

Was this file somehow relocated?

Hi Mike,

Not sure why we are putting that link in but here's the right one. Just update the XML file:

https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100007129722010E/cr2008sp3_clickonce.zip

Or you may want this one:

https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100007123592010E/cr2008sp3_redist.zip

These links are indexed so they should not change.

Hi Don,

thank you for your answer.

The first link you provided is the clickonce deployment package itself (which I already installed on my development machine).

The second link is the redistributable which has to be installed manually.

The thing is, that CRRuntime_12_3_mlb.msi is missing on SAP-Servers, so that the link in product.xml is not working. The most simple solution in my opinion is, that someone at SAP copies this file to the right location

Example:

Working Crystal Reports 2008 SP1 Clickonce Deployment URL:

http://resources.businessobjects.com/support/downloads/redistributables/cr_120/redist/x86/CRRuntime_...

Working Crystal Reports 2008 SP2 Clickonce Deployment URL:

http://resources.businessobjects.com/support/downloads/redistributables/cr_120/redist/x86/CRRuntime_...

Defective Crystal Reports 2008 SP3 Clickonce Deployment URL:

http://resources.businessobjects.com/support/downloads/redistributables/cr_120/redist/x86/CRRuntime_...

You see, it is just a missing file on SAP-Servers...
