Create a new dim by merging 2 existing ones - Univers based on Olap cube

Hello.

I'm trying to create an BO universe based on an OLAP cube created by SAP Extended Analytics.

I've 2 dimensions, Phase and Entry Period, that I would like to merge into one in my BO universe.

Could you please let me know if it's possible ?

From my understanding, I can not create a new object that will return string

Hi,

I guess you are trying to concat the two dimensions into 1. As of now concatenation or merging is not possible at the universe

level created from SAP BW source.

You can create such objects easily at the report level.

Why don't you approach Derived Table @ the universe level.

Derived Tables is the concept in the relational universes where you write the SQL and create the table

from the existing tables in the database.

This concept in not applicable for the OLAP Universes having SAP BW as sorce.
