stock transfer from one storage location

hi,

i am struck up in stock transfer from one storage location to another storage location both are integrated into same ware hosue.if i am doing stock transfer using 311 movement type , stock get reduced at inventory level but not at binlevel.

transfer requirement is also not created automatically.

As mentioned please check whether TR creation active for the moement type.

Please check if the transfer req creation is set in movement type interface for 311.

TR should be genarated from material doc. posting, check for TR in the WM tab when you display the doc. (MB51)

(unless you are trying to move non-WM managed inv. then only IM moves possible)

The transfer is a two step process so the TR should be to move the material into STF (stock in transit) from WM and then into the other storage location.

So you will need two t.o. from the TR

let us know if you see a T.R. in the doc.

If you do not see a WM tab in the material document then the material is not WM relevent (not in bin level)
