Hi,

As per SAP standard guide, value should be

Cache Job Time interval in seconds: 5

Background Job Time Intervals in Minutes: 1

But it depends upon different scenario.

Thanks

Sunny

Where did you get those recommendations from - refreshing the cache every 5 seconds basically renders it useless. The default is 60 seconds.

BG Job interval should be one minute.

Be careful - in earlier support packs, both values were given in seconds, so if you upgraded from there your background job interval may be at 60 minutes now!

Frank.

Hi,

I looked at the doument and Sunny is right. It is mentioned as 5 seconds but I think it is a mitake. It is not recommended to set up cache time inerval to be less than 60 seconds an Background job internval to be less than 1 minute. Usually, my settings are 120 seconds and 1 minute for cache and background job respectively.
