Delivery Lock Error

Dear All,

One of our users have created a delivery and was facing some issue.To

resolve the our support team was trying to access the delivery, But theywere getting a error message that the delivery is locked by user ANPMM02.

We killed the user session through SM04 tcode.

Now while accessing the delivery we are getting a error message that thedelivery is locked by user 30209.There is no such user in the list.

We have check all tcodes like SM50,SM12 and SM13 to check whether any

session is closed but no process id 30209 was shown as active.

We have also restarted the server but the problem persist.

Kindly look into the issue as its a quarter end and financial reports has

to be submitted.

HI Blessan,

Are you seeing any lock entries in SM12 that exists long with the user ANPMM02 . You can delete the the lock entry if any active processes is not using the mentioned objects.

Hi Nibu,

There is no enteries in SM12.I have check in most the tcode such as sm04,sm12, sm13, DB01 and SM50 but there is no entries

Can you tell us you OS and database which you are using in your landscape.

The os used is HP-UX 11.23 and the database version is oracle 10G.

Hi Blesson,

Do the following steps

1. Login to SAP OS with ORASID user.

2. then do -- > sqlplus "/as sysdba"

3. run command -- > alter system switch logfile;

4. Run above command 2 to 3 times.

Once done, then try regenrate the problem which yuo are facing.

Reason for above activity:- many time database does'nt get commited on database.
