we have a ecc6 abap system which used 13.5GB memory.

in AIX:

svmon -U oraprd 2642791*4KB=10GB

===============================================================================

User Inuse Pin Pgsp Virtual

oraprd 2642791 69044 364678 2942062

svmon -U prdadm 491989 * 4KB=2GB

===============================================================================

User Inuse Pin Pgsp Virtual

prdadm 491989 66813 45580 516309

what puzzled me is the oraprd user used 10GB memory while the sga_targe and sga_max_size are both 5GB.

why the oraprd user used 10GB memory? Could you give me some advices. thanks very very much.

Hi Victor,

if you don't get an answer here, I'd try the SAP on Unix forum:

Thanks, Hannes
