PS Text cannot be created

Hi,

Every time I am creating PS Text for WBS in DOC or EXCEL formats, it gets created but when I try to open (edit) the text, the system says 'there is no document' and a blank screen appears.

I have MS office 2007 and ECC6.0, EHP4 installed in my system.

Appreciate your reply/solution.

Hi,

I just tried it in my ECC 6.0 system by going CJ02, selecting from the menu WBS Element->PS Text overview, and was able to create and display it.

What transaction are you using to create the PS text?

HI ,

I used both t-codes -CJ02 as welll as CJ20N. But, still I can not open the document. The message I am getting is 'No Document Opened. Message No.SOFFICEINTEGRATION022'. My system is also ECC 6.0 and MS Office 2007.

Any more idea?

While I sincerely thank for your replies but still I cannot open any text.

Your reply threads recommend to install Patch Level 16. I am already in Patch Level 16 (my SAP GUI).

Maybe, is it something to do with MS Office installation or Windows?

Hi - I am still not sure why; OSS note 850742 says to check the Gui patch. Have you tried it on a different machine that has a different patch level?

HI Tammy,

This SAP note 850742 is for SAP Gui 6.40 Patch 12 or Higher.

SAP Gui 620 Patch 56 or Higher.

I am already in SAP GUI 7.0 Patch level 14. I tried after implemening patch level 18 too.

Hi all,

The final solution found.

If you have MS office 2007 installed then you need to implement SAP note 1364806. Also, you should have support pack 16 or higher or release 7.12 gui implemented in your system.
