Hi Experts,
When the process order is created, at the time of release of process order can the Date of manufacture & SLED Date get updated? If it is possible, how?

Hi,
At the time of process order released I do not think it will be possible for you update production date & sled..
You just try create batch with MSC2n where update production date ,sled manuaally.& then put this batch in process order.
Any how system papulating this data at the time of GRN.
Or you can use user exit where at the time of GRN you can give logic to take production date as released date.

Not sure why you need these updated. These are fields in the batch master and the system takes care of them. If shelf life requirements are maintained, the date of production is a required field at GR and defaults to the current date of the GR. The expiration date is calculated from that.
To directly answer your question, no, the batch cannot be updated at order release. Not automatically anyway.
If you want the date of manufacture to be the date of order release, then I assume you must only have one batch per order. So why not assign the batch number to the process order and uses MSC2n to populate the current date then?
An alternative is to ask your PP/PI person if there is a user exit available at order release. Use that exit to do the update of the production date for the batch assigned to the order.
