how to set IR/ID readonly

Hi experts,

when I open java IR/ID in PIP, I can change anything. How to cancel this access, and let me read only.

It's a security problem, or basis problem.

It's a security problem, or basis problem.

It is due to the roles assigned to your user-id....if you want to restrict a user from accessing the objects then SAP_XI_DEVELOPER role would suffice....for more information refer this link: http://www.erpgenie.com/sap/netweaver/xi/xiauthorizations.htm

If I remember properly, even Michal has a blog on how to restrict access to the design objects....check that out too.

Which Version of PI you are using ?

If it is PI 7.11 you can use UsageProfile.

You can Create your own usage profile and Give Restrictions for The Objects in Usage Profile.

To restrict the access, contact your security team. They will have the authorizations to help you to restrict the access.
