Client Import Receiving Error: NT AUTHORITY\TERMINAL SERVER USER

I'm trying to do a client import onto one of my servers but getting an error during the create users for SAP system. In the error logs the error reads:

FSL-01015 Unable to determine whether account ieua\sapservicebws is member of account NT AUTHORITY\TERMINAL SERVER USER. Unspecified error

I can't seem to find any information regarding this error. Has anyone come across this before?

Hello,

From the error I believe you are referring to system copy (importing into target system) and not client import

Check if the user is existing already, is the user locked, password expired? Check in the security logs, event logs for any eror message. Post the error log to know more about the issue

Here are the sapinst.log of the installation. The user is a domain account user. I have it as a member of the Terminal Server Users group on the network and a user of the local remote desktop users also. It's also added as a local admin and a domain admin. Please review the logs below to see if there is something that I'm not seeing. Thank you again for all of your help!

Check the log file for above section. Are you trying domain installation or local installation? Looks like sapinst is not able to determine the domain controller IEUA and hence the user SAPServiceBWS is also not detected. Confirm if the server is registered in domain or try local installation

Hi,

Is the user ieua\sapservicebws local user in the server or domain user in the domain. Make sure to add the user sapservicebws to TERMINAL SERVER group in the target system if its a domain account. If it is a local account then create the same in the target system as local account and then add the same to TERMINAL SERVER group of the target system. After that check and see if you are getting the same error.
