Posting change notices created with movement type 309

Hi All

In transaction LU04 we found somany posting change notices with movement type 309. We do not under stand why these somany notices created and how to remove all these PCNs.

we know one solution by LU02, status = processed, but this solution takes so much time to do manually one by one. Could you please suggest us to avoid this one.

1. TO know the reason you will find the material document in the PCN

2. to close these PCN create BDC or LSMW,

3. Do not deactivate the PCN generation for movement type 309 as it will creae discrepancy in IM and WM

In the config fro WM in the Interface to IM - movement types you can set the movement type to NOT create a PCN

Hello,

Posting change is created when you do SLoc to SLoc transfer belonging to same plant and Both the sloc is WH managed. Even if you use same sloc for MB1B-311, the PCH will create.Please check the stock of a material using MMBE and go to envioronment at header and click on material movement. You can find out the movement type used for the material. From this you will get an idea of movement type used for the material.

Are you running any batch job for creating PCNs? Or are they created manually?
