Hi

We are installing CRM 7.0 SR1 on Win 2008 standart SP1 and Oracle 10.2.0.4. At step 34 (Configure System Landscape Directory phase) the install fails with the following error.

We have installed KCD for ABAP and CJD for JAVA instance in same Oracle folder .

Java Version : j2sdk1.4.2_25-x64

Swap : 40 GB

Hello,

I have solved this problem following way. My problem is related with regional options. Operating system has been installed with Turkish regional settings. Although I have changed the regional settings to English before installation, it failed at 'Configure System Landscape Directory' with above error.

So,

- I have deleted all user profiles without administrator in the operationg system.

- Then, copy language and regional settings to current account.

(Control panel-Regional and language options- Administrative-Copy to Reserved Accounts- select two options -Default User account and System accounts)

- restart OS and the sap installation

The other way for solution, unfortunatelly, you have to re-install operating system with selecting English regional settings during the operating system installation.

Hi Vamsu,

there is no relation between my ABAP stack and Java stack. Java stack will use its own UME database. Also you can configure the user on Visual Admin, from Configuration Adapter or SLD Data supplier sections; but you can NOT create user from there. Even if you can, you should not do that, it's a step in installation process and sapinst could NOT do it according to the some problems, to be solved...

Hi,

The reason I have asked to create user in abap stack is I assumed its a dual stack installation, Sorry But I was wrong because for CRM7.0 there is no dual stack installation. In visual admin you can atleast check wheather the user has roles or not. If the user exsists you can just assign the sld admin role and re-run again.

Vamshi.

Hi,

You should be able to create the users using visual admin, If not just logon to your abap stack and create user slddsuser .

Hi,

because of the installation is inconmplete; we cannot reach to the http://hostname:port/useradmin ora /nwa .... So we cannot modify the SLDDSUSER .

The exact error log from sapinst is, same as Ufuk Akyildiz has above :

Hi,

*ConfigMainExt state401

TYPE=A

STATE=401

INFO_SHORT=Error connecting to http://KFCRMDEVSRV:50100/ctc/ConfigServlet?param=com.sap.ctc.util.SecurityRoleConfig;MAP_SECURITYROL.... The provided user data might be incorrect or user might be locked.

Though the user has sap_all profile this is in abap stack, But in java stack you should assign the role SLD_ADMINISTRATOR role.

Merhaba Ufuk, sorunu çözdüysen çözümünü paylaşır mısın? Biz de aynı sorunu yaşıyoruz. Windows2008'e NW701 Java kurarken (BI ABAP ile aynı sunucuya kurulum yapıyoruz.)

Hi Ufuk,

if you had solved the issue , could you please share the solution?

Thanks in advance...

Hi Mark ,

SAPinst automatically performing "System Landscape Directory" configuration during the installation.

It says "You must logon to "http://<host>:<port>/sld" and "http://<host>:<port>/useradmin" in Post-Installation Guide

When we connected to "http://<host>:<port>/sld" and useradmin" . We received 500 Internal Server Error , Failed to process request. Please contact your system administrator.

Thaks your response .

Are you using the correct URL? If you enter http://<hostname>:<java port> do you get the main screen for Application Server Java?

The SLD landscape configuration step from sapinst is different than the manual activities that you should execute afterwords.

Kind regards,

Mark

Hi Mark ,

I have checked , It hasn't locked , It has SAP_ALL profile .

That user should not have SAP_ALL. Check form http://<hostname>:<java port>/useradmin the roles of this user.

Check http://service.sap.com/instguides -> NetWeaver 7.0 -> Post-Installation Guide - SLD of SAP NetWeaver 7.0

Please execute the activities mentioned in this guide, it will definitely solve your issue.

Kind regards,

Mark

Have you checked if user SLDDSUSER is locked? And have you executed the SLD post processing guide, so this user has the sufficient roles?

Kind regards,

Mark
