BD64 : Distribution Model

Hi SRM Gurus

We are on SRM 5 , and ERP ECC 6 .I managed to distribute the model in SRM to ECC but I am failing to distribute from ECC6 to SRM am getting the message Model View has not been updated , Maintanance systems for model view SRM678 are not identical.

Maintanance System is sending system ECCQA. Maintanance System is receiving system EccPrd.

Please advise on how to go about resolving this.

What steps exactly you performed

Step 1 .did you create a model view in SRM and added the messages? - in SRM

Step 2 :- Hope you generated a partner profile - in SRM

step 3:- Distribute model view to ECC system from SRM system

step 4:- Generate the partner profiles for the model view on the back end system - in ECC

This is fresh system we might do

if it is copied/refreshed system . nothing required. you may need to see model view pointing to appropriate logical system

check with basis consultant BDLS - process completed.

double check modelview -drill and check where exactly it pointing to..

Hello Warona,

For which message type do you want to distribute your model between SRM and ECC ?

In a model view, distribution model is done in sender system. This reflects your distribution model in the receiver system: you don't have to distribute it again.

If for same message type, SRM and ECC can be either sender or receiver, then you have to create one distribution model in SRM and a different one in ECC.
