Hi,

Oracle database or services are might be running.

First make sure that all Oracle services are stopped.

Then try to run opatch again..

Regards.

Dear Rajesh Narkhede,

Thanks a lot, we applied the Opatches sucessfully with your commmand,

We took a re-start of our server so by default Oracle services were active, we stoped the services and run the command

E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\OPatch\9358800>E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\opatch\opatch apply

and it was sucessfull.

Hi

First, I think you haven't installed Oracle as suggested by SAP in installation guide (using sapserver.cmd)

Otherwise, ORACLE_HOME would be something like "E:\oracle\<SID>\102".

Second, can you check if the below environment variables are set properly..

JAVA_HOME = C:\j2sdk1.4.2_19-x64
ORACLE_HOME = E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1

Also try to execute "opatch" with absolute path. like:

E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\OPatch\9358800>E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\opatch\opatch apply

(Check the correct path of OPATCH in Oracle Home directory...)

You can also try installing latest version of PERL.. (Opatch required perl)
