Mount /usr/sap/trans

Transport directory /usr/sap/trans is empty on Dev system, however it is fine on QA and PRD system. It seems that the Dev transport directory is not mounted.

Please anyone can suggest how to mount the transport directory so that it can be accessible and contains sub directories on Dev system as well.

Thanks.

Sanjay

This usually is an nfs mount.. Check what the original location for this mount is, export is to your dev system and mount it on your dev system.

Mark,

Thanks for the quick reply. I am not aware of how to export the mount from one system to another. Is it has to be done by the Unix team or some some tool is invloved.

Thanks,

Sanjay

Yes, it has to be done by the unix team.. Just give them a call and tell them that you are (most likely) are missing an nfs mount on the dev server. If you have sufficient rights on that machine, you could also perform a mount -a to see if it gets mounted.
