Connectivity of APO 3.0A and ERP6.0

Hi Experts,

We have a plan to upgrade R/4.6C to ERP6.0 in near future, and we consider to connect APO 3.0A to ERP6.0 for a while as one of options for some reason though finally we will go to SCM.

So now my question is...

Are there any actual case about connectivity of APO 3.0A and ERP6.0? And if you know some cases, could you kindly give me information about considerable points, difficulty and the solutions etc.

Hello,

Yes, it is possible to integrate SAP APO 3.0A with SAP ECC 6.0, though not very common.

But there might be inconsistencies /functionality gap / program errors in the plug in.

Hi Katsuya,

You can very well integrate APO 3.0 with ERP 6.0. But as

you see, ERP you are choosing is at a higher version and

APO you are choosing is at a lower version comparatively.

Hence you may get many operational errors during

integration part, livecache installation area, stability area etc.,

There could be more changes of data compatability leading

to data mismatches which creates inconsistencies etc.,
