Hi Experts,
Im getting the following error in the RWB cache monitoring. Due to this the files in the FTP is not gettting picked up. Once I restart the server it is working fine. But after some time it again comes up. Can any one pls suggest the cause and solution for this.
Connection to system AF using application Central Adapter Engine lost. Detailed information: Error accessing "/AdapterFramework/rwbAdapterAccess/int method=select" with user "null". Response code is 401, response message is "Unauthorized"
Connection to system RUNTIME using application RUNTIME lost. Detailed information: Error accessing "run/value_mapping_cache/int method=InvalidateCache" with user "null". Response code is 401, response message is "Unauthorized"
I have done CPA cache refersh (delta and full) but still no effect.
Thanks
Prasanna
Trust me we traced the problem to be in the FTP server. Some security certificate was installed in FTP server which was not updated/installed in PI.
Thanks for your response.

Hello Prasanna,
Kindly apply one of the following notes according to your XI/PI version:
PI 7.1:
#999962 - PI 7.10: Change passwords of PI service users
XI 7.0
#936093 - XI 7.0: Changing the passwords of XI service users
XI 3.0
#721548 - XI 3.0: Changing the passwords of the XI service users
The 401 Unauthorized error consists that the service users' passwords
should be the same in all place (Exchange Profile, SU01, ...). With the note
you can mantain, reset and fix the passwords for the users in order to get
access to the services.
And for reference, see the generic description:
401 Unauthorized
Description: The request requires user authentication
Possible Tips:
u2022 Check XIAPPLUSER is having this Role -SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER
u2022 If the error is in XI Adapter, then your port entry should J2EE port 5<System no>
u2022 If the error is in Adapter Engine
u2013then have a look into SAP note- 821026, Delete the Adapter Engine cache in transaction SXI_CACHE Goto --> Cache.
u2022 May be wrong password for user XIISUSER
u2022 May be wrong password for user XIAFUSER
u2013 for this Check the Exchange Profile and transaction SU01, try to reset the password -Restart the J2EE Engine to activate changes in the Exchange Profile After doing this, you can restart the message
