Hi Experts,
lets say in the server my portal link in the server is http://gcbipiep.sap.com:50000, how can i access this link from the client system? how to i make this link available for all the clients? Please help on this

First u should ask to BASIS Peoples. and Bring That Client IP Address and FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) also.
For Example
IP Add ress :192.1.1.30
FQDN : gcbipiep.sap.com
Take these Details from BASIS Peoples.
Next Go to this path C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc- Under etc folder hosts file is available.
Open this File and Past ID and FQDN also. And Save the file and Close.
Finally Open the you are Portal. That Portal is Open Via Interment and intranet.

try the following:
1. Use the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) for accessing the portal.
2. Check that the host files are maintained correctly.
3. Verify if you are using VPN

from any client system with in the intranet
