install license via C.L.I

Hi people,

I need to install the license using saplicense.exe -install ifile=. I´ve logged with user sidadm and execute this command and I get the next message error:

• SAPLICENSE (Release 701) ERROR ***

ERROR: Can not set DbSl trace function

DETAILS: DbSlControl(DBSL_CMD_IMP_FUNS_SET) failed with return code 20

RC-INFO: error loading dynamic db-library - check environment for:

dbms_type = (e.g. /usr/sap/SID/SYS/exe/run)

The E.V dbms_type and DIR LIBRARY, are corrects.What can i do?

Hi,

You cannot install SAP license with saplicense in 701 release as SAP license file contains digital encrypted license. So, you have to apply from slicense transaction in SAP only.

Hello,

Try with command saplikey. As of SAP NetWeaver 7.0 saplicense is replaced with saplikey

Note 1227762 - saplikey replaces saplicense as of Release 7.00 will give you more insight

But yes, the affected releases is not for your release, I do believe its because of version mismatch of executables.
