Creat a new quant when receipts the same material

HI Gurus,

I did a GR for material A, a quant will be created in storage type 902. then i did another GR for material A, the quantity will add in the last quant. but i want the system creates a new quant for other GR, can i achieve this? thank you in advance!

Hi,

System is adding the stock to the existing quant since the 'addn to stock' is checked for your storage type (902) configuration. logistics execution -> Warehosue management -> master data -> Define storage type -> select the 902 storage type for the relevent warehouse and remove the 'X' in 'addn to stock' field. This is SAP standard functionality for 902 Storage type, make sure you understand the consequences before changing.

from standard Sap definition a Quant "...is the stock of any material with the same features in one storage bin".

Based on that sounds like you're always posting on 902 (storage type) for the same bin, by posting to different bins for the same St.Type you would be able to achieve your result.
