Hello ,
I am working on a scenario and have done the Alerts configuration.I have defined the Alert rules in the RWB.I wanted to know when we move the scenario to Quality box, how do we take care of this. I mean is it that the alert rules defined under RWB alert configuration need to be done again in QA box. If not how do we transfer the same to QA.
Regarding the ALRTCATDEF settings I have generated one customizing request and have all the details under that transport. Need to know on the Alert rules under RWB how do we transfer them to another system.
We managed to locate the relevant PI tables
holdig the Alert configuration rules.
We then perform Table transport from DEV->QA->PROD
of the relevant keys we need.

Hi,
you need to configure alert rules in RWB in QA manually.........alert rules in RWB are not transported from DEV to QA....

In the transaction ALRTCATDEF screen in the menu bar u have option to select the transport of alert categories request.
Using that you will be able to transport the alert categories.
