How to get the .ear without using NWDS and error in code taken from DTR

Hi

We have one issue in production, however that application is working fine in development.So we send the ear file of the DC from NWDS to basis team to deploy it to production SDM.However we found that the file which we sent to basis team is having some errors.

The DC is ess_{per.when we are building this DC, build is succeessful in NWDS.but when we open the implemnetaion page component controller it showing error message as model xxx is not imported.We didn't do any development in the DC ess}per .Still when we are taking this DC from DTR first time we are getting errors in the implementaion tab though CBS build is successful in NWDS.

We also check the CBS URL and found that the ess~per DC is showing green only that means DC doesnot have any errors.Then why when we are taking DC from DTR, we are getting errors in implementaion page though build is succeessful?

Can any body provide the information from development portal server can we extract ear file and send it to basis team?If yes then what is the path?

Hi,

You can get the .era file from Visual Admin or just got to the following location in server

xxxxxxxxx\cluster\server0\apps\package name(com.sap)\ find the extracted EAR file with app name take the Application from Dev and Config it to NWDS and make ear file. please make sure that both Dev and Prod have same java versions.

In the vidula Admin the file will be in extracted from you have mentioned.Can you please clarify this?

Can you please tell the steps to generate .ear file in NWDS?

The path you have mentioned from there can't we get the .ear file directly?

How can we get the SCA file from Assembly of CMS server?
