Clarification on RA and Settlement

Dear Experts,

Before doing settlement of WBSE to PSG we missed to settle the production orders to WBS Element, so some cost did not settle to PSG. Now it is showing difference between COPA and FI.

Request you to clarify the following:-

1) Is it required to reverse the settlement of WBSE to PSG?

2) Can I settle the Production Orders to WBSE with out reversing the WBSE to PSG settlement?

3) Is it required to delete RA and Run again in KKA2?

4) Can I settle production Orders to WBSE and Run KKA2 and Do the settlement to PSG without reversing anything?

no need to reverse

settle production to project

then run RA

then settle project to PSG

it should clean the difference

delete RA when - during migration if anything goes wrong or testing same data, or you need to reverse the settlement for a month to adjust major postings

otherwise not required as the subsequent postings should correct the updates and adjust accordingly

note - that using RA you only get a view at a given point in time, once TECO everything is set to zero automatically
