Send mail to vendor on Chnage of bid end date

Hi experts,

I need to send mail to vendors if a bid's end date get changed

How can I achive this ?

If you change a previously published Bid Invitation (by changing the end date for example) and re-publish it, an email notification should be sent out to the vendor as per standard.

will new version Bid Invitation be created?

if any buyers already submited bid - it will be ignored?

If versioning is turned on for Bid Invitation, then a new version would be created after re-publishing. If bidder had already submitted a bid for the older version, the response would not be ignored. However, a warning message would appear when the bidder displays the Bid Response, something like "The Bid Invitation has been updated. Click Change to see the latest".
