Material cost plan on Assignments tab page

Hi,

I have a scenario wherin the Co Ar curr is USD & Co cd curr as well object curry is SAR.

I want to plan material plan cost initially at times when am not sure @ precise material masters. As per SAP provisions I can use field "Mat Planning" on Assignments tab page to plan cost initially.

But due to different currencies the field is available only in Co Ar curry, i.e. USD, the business needs cost plan in SAR (which is object Curry).

Do we have any settings to make same plan in object curry & not in Co Ar curry.

you could set the object currency to USD for this

I think it is the std behavior because the F1 Help document says Amount of forecast material costs, in controlling area currency..So I believe it is available only in CO area currency
