Hello All,
I am implementing service desk and following the guide "Configuration Service Desk for VAR" published in September of '09. My package level is ST - 400 - 21 - SAPKITL431.
I was informed yesterday that the contract for our VAR Service Desk customer had finally been processed by SAP; however, I have run the following jobs and still not received any data from the SAP Support Portal:
AI_SC_GET_SAP_CUSTOMER_NUMBERS
AI_SC_REFRESH_READ_ONLY_DATA
AI_SDK_SP_GENERATE_BP
This system has an installation number assigned to customer A in the SAP Support Portal. Customer B is a "subsidiary" of Customer A, and has variants of the relevant jobs using a separate SAP_OSS RFC destination that has a suser of Customer B.
Is it possible to deliver VAR Service Desk service as Customer B while using the Solution Manager with an installation number assigned to Customer A? If so, what are some common mistakes people make so I can help speed up our ability to receive messages from our customer?

In the end, I learned this was an impossible situation. If you are a VAR Service Desk provider, your solution manager must be registered with the SAP Backend using your customer number.
