Solution Manager 7.01 EhP1 Installation Problem

Hi friends,

We are installing Solman 7.01 EhP1 with HP UX and Oracle, in the phase IMPORT_ABAP we getting the error as below..

Do not remove anything, execute (as user <sid>adm):

R3load -merge_only SAPSSEXC.TSK

Then restart the installation out of the same directory.

delete the installation directory where the logs are stored sapinst.. then start again, it should work fine, its just picking up the previous installation attempt

Dear Kaless,

If you start the installation for the 2nd time (example), the log files are still written in the directory where the 1st installation has been started.

You just have to remove filename SAPSSEXC.TSK.bck or rename your directory ...

/tmp/sapinst_instdir/SOLMAN/SYSTEM/ORA/CENTRAL/AS/SAPSSEXC.TSK.bck
