Error while configuring Model view for MM to PI to SRM

Hi Experts,

Im working on MM to PI7.1 to SRM, as the process I imported SRM content in PI and configuring scenario in ID using Model View and when Im trying to select Communication component at receiver side, Im getting below error.

" Unable to generate the communication channel (DEVCLNT240, SUS_XI): Attempt to access the 1 requested objects on 1 failed.

Detailed information: com.sap.aii.ib.core.roa.RoaObjectAccessException: Attempt to read object Adapter Metadata XI |

http://sap.com/xi/XI/System, type AdapterMetaData from application REPOSITORY on system REPOSITORY failed.

Object does not exist. Detailed informatio n: SWCV ID: 1bfe1130824211dc8fb5d9900a115642 does not

exist in Enterprise Service Repository and System Landscape Directory "

My understanding is SRM metedata is missing in ESR, where can I get the SRM Metadata for ESR.

Or please let me know the exact reason.

Hi Hemanth,

Attempt to read object Adapter Metadata XI

As you might be aware that the adapter metadata is stored in the SAP BASIS component.

It seems that SAP BASIS component needs to be updated with a new content in your case.

To do so download the relevant SAP BASIS XI content from the service marketplace site.

Support Packages and Patches-> SAP NetWeaver-> SAP NETWEAVER-> SAP NETWEAVER 2004S-> Entry by Component-> Content PI/XI ->XI CONTENT SAP_BASIS 710

take help from the basis team if you don't have access to service market place.
