business explorer not working

Dear Expert ,

i have installed sapgui 7.10 on windows 7 and also installed patch 16 for sap gui . sap gui working successfuly and connect to the server .when i open the bex analyzer and want to open any query , no system is shown whom i can connect it is blank and when i try to enter the username and password manaually it gives error .

First of all

you need at least

BI 7.0 ADDON FOR SAP GUI 7.10: Patchlevel 1001

Analyzer uses the saplogon.ini from windows folder by default, are you see saplogon.ini in windows folder?

In any case first of all try to patch the Bi 7.0 addon first.

We are receiving the same error except with SAPGUI 7.20 and only on Windows Vista computers. We've updated all the BI components on the installation but getting the same error. Anyone have an idea of any bugs in the program?
