DIP Profile assignment for item category

Hi Gurus,

I know at item category Level we can see "DIP Profile" . but i want to now whether any assignment any where in IMG?

It is right there in Item Cat config itself: in the section "Control of Resource Related Billing and Creation of quotations'.

Menu Path: SPRO/IMG/Sales and Distribution/Sales/Sales Document Item/Define Item Categories

But it is wrong.... 1st we should define DIP Profile and then we should assign for Item category

As per you if it is already ther in Item category then what is use of Maintaing DIP Profile?

If you are asking about where to set up the profile itself, then here is the answer for that:

Menu path: From SD: SPRO/IMG/Sales and Distribution/Sales/Sales Documents/Customer Service/Service Quotation/Resource-Related Billing/Profiles For Resource-Related Billing/Quotation Creation
